ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution 94-52, providing for certain paving and <br />drainage improvements to 63rd Avenue between 4th <br />Street and 8th Street in Pinetree Park Subdivision; <br />and Resolution 94-53, setting a public hearing for <br />Tuesday, May 24, 1994, at 9:05 a.m. in the County <br />Commission Chambers, as recommended by staff. <br />Providing (First Reso.) 1/5/94(ENG)RESI.MAG\gfk <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-52 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR <br />CERTAIN PAVING AND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS TO 63RD <br />AVENUE BETWEEN 4TH STREET AND 8TH STREET IN <br />PINETREE PARR SUBDIVISION, PROVIDING THE TOTAL <br />ESTIMATED COST, METHOD OF PAYMENT OF ASSESSMENTS,_ <br />NUMBER OF ANNUAL INSTALLMENTS, AND LEGAL <br />DESCRIPTION OF THE AREA SPECIFICALLY BENEFITED. <br />WHEREAS, the County Public Works Department has been <br />petitioned for Road Paving and Drainage Improvement for 63rd Avenue <br />between 4th Street and 8th Street in Pinetree Park Subdivision. <br />WHEREAS, the construction of paving .and drainage <br />improvements by special assessment funding is authorized by Chapter <br />206, Section 206.01 through 206.09, Indian River County Code; and <br />cost estimates and preliminary assessment rolls have been completed <br />by the Public Works Department; and the total estimated cost of the <br />proposed paving and drainage improvements is ONE -HUNDRED TWENTY- <br />FOUR THOUSAND, TWO HUNDRED TWENTY-EIGHT DOLLARS and FIFTY-THREE <br />CENTS ($124,228.53); and <br />WHEREAS, the special assessment provided hereunder shall, <br />for any given record owner of property within the area specially <br />benefited, be in an amount equal to that proportion of seventy-five <br />percent (75%) of the total cost of the project ($93,171.40) which <br />the number of lineal feet of road frontage owned by the given owner <br />bears to the total number of lineal feet of road frontage within <br />the areas specially benefited and twenty-five percent (25%) of the <br />13 <br />APR J 9 �994 <br />Boor 92 FacF223 <br />
