Tuesday, April 19, 1994 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, April 19, 1994, <br />at 9:00 a.m. Present were John W. Tippin, Chairman; Kenneth R. <br />Macht, Vice Chairman; Fran B. Adams; Richard N. Bird; and Carolyn <br />K. Eggert. Also present were James E. Chandler, County <br />Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney; and Diane <br />Albin, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Commissioner Bird led the Pledge of Allegiance -to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />The Chairman requested the addition of Item 11.G.6., <br />Recommendation of the Beach and Shore Preservation Advisory <br />Committee. <br />Commissioner Eggert requested the addition of Item 13.E., <br />Comment Regarding Courthouse Opening Ceremony. <br />Administrator Chandler requested the deletion of Item 7.D., <br />Bid Award on Tractor; and Item 11.G.1., Sandridge Golf Course New <br />18 Contract, Amendment #7. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously added and <br />deleted the above items. <br />PROCLAMATIONS AND PRESENTATIONS <br />Chairman Tippin read aloud the following Proclamation and <br />presented a plaque to Guy L.
