Decker Jr. announces hist retirement from <br />Indian River County Board of County Commissioners effective April <br />21, 1994. <br />WHEREAS, Guy L. Decker Jr. was hired on July 25, 1983, as a <br />Housing Rehabilitation Consultant. Mr. Decker was selected by the <br />Housing Authority for promotion to Executive Director -Housing in <br />April of 1986 which is the position he currently holds. In this <br />role he reports directly to the five member Housing Authority <br />Board.' He administers the rental assistance programs, the housing <br />rehabilitation programs, and oversees the low-income housing <br />projects. <br />WHEREAS, Guy L. Decker Jr. has been an asset to the Housing <br />Authority for his dedication in administering grant programs which <br />provide affordable housing to those less fortunate. Through Mr. <br />Decker's guidance, two new housing projects were developed. His <br />contribution to the community is -commendable. Mr. Decker will be <br />missed by all. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Board on <br />behalf of Indian River County wishes to express its appreciation <br />for the performance and dedication of Guy L.
