The Board reviewed the Six -Year Emergency Services Plan <br />Revision Recommendations, which includes the estimated maintenance <br />costs of the 800 MHz Communications System. <br />SAID DOCUMENT IS ON FILE <br />IN THE COUNTY COMMISSION OFFICES <br />Administrator Chandler announced that the next area of <br />discussion will be the County Administration Building. He directed <br />the Board's attention to Exhibit IV: <br />DATE: APRIL 19, 1994 <br />TO: JAMES E. CHANDLER EXH I B IT IV <br />COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR <br />FROM: H.T. "SONNY- DEAN, DIRECTO <br />DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES <br />SUBJECT: VOA STUDY - COUNTY ADMINISTRATION BUILDING <br />As per your request, the following information is furnished in <br />respect to the 1991 VOA study as related to a new county <br />administration building complex. <br />Three options for the complex were looked at. Option one was to <br />locate the new facility north of the present building. Option two <br />was to move the School District out and renovate the present <br />facility. Option 2, construction <br />of a new County Administration Building, is preferable to Option 1, <br />spending $1.7 million to renovate and repair the old building.
