Tuesday, May 3, 1994 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, May 3, 1994, at <br />9:00 a.m. Present were John W. Tippin, Chairman; Kenneth R. Macht, <br />Vice Chairman; Fran B. Adams; Richard N. Bird; and Carolyn K. <br />Eggert. Also present were James E. Chandler, County Administrator; <br />Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney; and Patricia Held, Deputy <br />Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Reverend Joe Brooks, Twentieth Avenue Church of God, gave the <br />invocation, and Commissioner Carolyn K. Eggert led the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Tippin requested addition of the following items: <br />Item 5.B., Proclamation Honoring John Orcutt. <br />Item 13.A.1., Schedule Public Hearing for Sales Tax <br />Item 13.A.2., Report on Meeting with Indian River Farms Water <br />Control District <br />Commissioner Adams requested addition of 7.I., Appoint Al <br />Mitchell to Beach and Shore Preservation Advisory Committee <br />Commissioner Bird requested addition of Item 9.A.l.a., <br />Resolution regarding Management and Control of Work Force <br />Employment and Training <br />Attorney Vitunac requested addition of Item 12, Schedule <br />Public Hearing to discuss our Comprehensive Plan Compliance <br />Agreement <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously added the <br />above items to the Agenda. <br />MAY > <br />�ooK � '� �A 3�8 <br />
