BACKGROUND <br />Attached is a proposed developer's agreement with Laurel Homes <br />for reimbursement of construction of off-site utilities on 8th <br />Street, east of 58th Avenue. The proposed construction at the <br />subdivision consists of a Master -planned force main on 8th Street <br />along with a Master -planned lift station. For details, please see <br />the attached agreement and location map. <br />ANALYSIS <br />The reimbursement is set forth in Ordinance No. 91-9 and is acquired <br />partially from impact fees associated with this project (see <br />attached Exhibit B); the remaining reimbursement will come from the <br />sewer impact fee fund. The total estimated project cost is <br />$152,145.54, which includes engineering fees, of which the County <br />will pay 100% upon completion and acceptance of the project. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends that the <br />Board of County Commissioners approve the developer's agreement as <br />presented. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously approved <br />the Developers Agreement with Laurel Homes, as <br />recommended by staff. <br />AGREEMENT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE -BOARD <br />MASTER PLANNED WATER SERVICE MAIN ON 26TH STREET <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 4/29/94: <br />TO: JAMES E. C IN <br />AND STAFFED CAPITAL O ENGINEER <br />BY: DEPAR ILITY SERVICES <br />SUBJECT: MASTER PLANNED WATER SERVICE MAIN ON 26TH ST. <br />BACKGROUND <br />On the attached exhibit, ES -8B 'from the Indian River County <br />Utilities Master Plan executive summary, project No. 15 consists of <br />a 16" water main on 33rd Street from 58th Avenue West to 74th <br />Avenue, then South on 74th Avenue to 26th Street again proceeding <br />West, to 82nd Avenue. We are proposing to locate this line entirely <br />on;2'6th Street and to provide interconnects with State Road 60 at <br />74th Avenue and '82nd Avenue.
