IN 101994 <br />ANALYSIS <br />Baas 92 Fnr :392 <br />In order to provide the required fire protection and to adequately <br />serve future residents, the Department is proposing to construct a 6" <br />water main along 16th Street and along 15th Place, between 6th Avenue <br />and U. S. Highway #1. The lines will be tied together along 7th Avenue <br />providing a partially looped system. (See attached) The estimated <br />cost of the project is $50,465. This project will be paid with renewal <br />and replacement funds. <br />The Department of Utility Services recommends approval of the subject <br />project in the amount of $50,465. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously approved <br />the 16th Street water line construction in the <br />amount of $50,465, to be paid from renewal and <br />replacement funds, as recommended by staff. <br />REQUEST FROM JUDGE VOCELLE TO DISCUSS 1994-95 BUDGET <br />Chairman Tippin advised that Judge Vocelle has requested to <br />come before the Board to discuss budget matters. <br />It was the consensus of the Board to place this matter on the <br />agenda of the Regular Meeting of May 24, 1994. <br />SCHEDULING OF MEETING WITH COUNTY ATTORNEY ON INSURANCE CLAIM <br />The Board agreed to begin the preliminary budget workshop <br />scheduled for May 31, 1994 at 9:30 a.m. rather than 9:00 a.m. to <br />accommodate a meeting with the County Attorney on an insurance <br />claim. <br />22 <br />
