The Board questioned staff and discussed the evolution of the <br />current regulations, problems with ingress and egress, traffic <br />safety factors, possibility of pre -holiday sales, and fairness to <br />merchants who purchased licenses and paid overhead to maintain <br />their businesses. <br />Staff was directed to review the regulations so that any <br />ambiguities could be addressed and corrected. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Eggert, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Bird, that the Board <br />deny Mr. Courtright's request. <br />Under discussion, Commissioner Macht asked if it would be <br />subject to challenge and Attorney Vitunac advised that it would <br />present greater problems if allowed. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION.
