As I stated while talking with you, the Florida breezes have <br />a tendency to become quite strong by 10:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. <br />and this greatly shortens our flying time for the day. <br />We have been leasing the site at the Indian River Fairgrounds <br />for three years and have always.tried to abide by the <br />stipulations of the lease. To the best of our knowledge, <br />there have not been any complaints to date. <br />If there are any questions about the feasibility of -changing <br />the time period, perhaps a three or six months trial period <br />would give both, parties time to give it a fair test. <br />Mr. Davis, if it is permissible for one of our officers to <br />attend the Parks and Recreation meeting, we could answer any <br />questions that might arise. Taylor, Secretary <br />ATR MASTERS R/C CLUB <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Macht, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert the Board unanimously <br />approved addendum to license by changing the <br />beginning hour of operation from 9:00 a.m. to <br />8:00 a.m. <br />The Commissioners decided that if the earlier time causes a <br />problem to the neighbors, the matter will be reconsidered. <br />ADDENDUM TO LICENSE IS ON FILE IN THE <br />OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />REQUEST TO SET PUBLIC HEARING TO ADOPT ORDINANCE REGARDING <br />COMMISSIONER PARTICIPATION IN THE SELECTION OR RANKING OF <br />CONSULTANT AND NEGOTIATIONS OF CONTRACTS <br />Commissioner Eggert presented her views on the proposed <br />ordinance which would restrict Commissioners' participation in <br />selection or ranking of consultants and professional service <br />providers and contract negotiations. <br />Commissioner Adams felt this was unnecessary because we <br />already have a process in place.
