The <br />iainimum distance from the street right- <br />of-way line at any ingress or egress <br />driveway to any interior service drive or <br />parking space with direct access to such <br />driveway shall be a minimum of fifty (50) <br />feet measured on a line perpendicular to <br />the street right-of-way. Intermediate drive- <br />ways shall provide minimum ingress lanes <br />fourteen (14) feet wide and egress lanes <br />twelve (12) feet wide. Where left and right <br />turn egress is allowed, dual egress lanes <br />shall be provided with a minimum four -foot <br />separation from the ingress lane. Interme- <br />diate driveways sliall provide minimum ve- <br />hicle turning radii of thirty-five (35) feet. <br />3. ,Major driveways. A major driveway shall <br />provide fqr a maximum average daily trip <br />volume of two thousand (2,000) to five thou- <br />sand (5,000) vehicles. The minimum dis- <br />tance from the street richt-of-wav line at <br />any ingress or egress driveway to any inte- <br />rior service drive or parking space with di- <br />rect access to such driveway shall be one <br />hundred (100) feet_ measured on a line per- <br />pendicular to the street right-of-way. Major <br />driveways shall provide minimum 'ingress <br />lanesfourteen(14) feet wide and egress <br />_lanes twelve (12) feet wide. Potential number of left turns into <br />§ 952.13 <br />3. Distance of proposed opening from ad- <br />jacent intersections or other openings; <br />4. Length and width of the left -turn <br />storage lane as functions of the esti- <br />mated maximum number of vehicles to <br />be in the lane during peak hours; and <br />5. Traffic control, including signalization, <br />that will be necessary at the median <br />cut. If a traffic signal at a median cut <br />is within one thousand five hundred <br />(1,500) feet of another traffic signal, the <br />two (2) shall be coordinated. <br />(b) No median opening shall be spaced at a <br />distance less than six hundred sixty (660) <br />feet from any signalized intersection or me- <br />dian opening, except that median openings <br />may be spaced at a lesser distance based <br />upon a. traffic study and impact analysis; <br />but in no. case . shall median openings be <br />spaced at less than three hundred thirty <br />(330) -feet. Public streets shall be given pri- <br />ority consideration for median openings. <br />(c) All median openings shall include adequate <br />storage and transition lanes, where war- <br />ranted. <br />(d) These regulations may be modified by the <br />public works director on a case by case basis <br />when warranted by circumstances unique <br />to the particular development. <br />(Ord. All developments <br />shall comply with the minimum off-street parking <br />requirements, of this code, as established in <br />Chapter 954, Parking. Such parking areas shall <br />be landscaped in compliance with the provisions <br />of this Code.
