Is Request for Planned <br />Development Special Exception Approval to Add 48.88 Acres <br />to the Indian River Country Club Project <br />It is requested that the data herein presented be given formal <br />consideration by the Board of County Commissioners at its regular <br />meeting of July 19, 1994. <br />*Proposed Development <br />Urban Resource Group and Masteller & Moler, Inc. have submitted an <br />application for planned development special exception use and <br />preliminary plan approval on behalf of Indian River Country Club <br />Ltd. The applicants' request is to amend the existing, approved <br />Indian River Country Club conceptual and preliminary PD plan by <br />adding 48.88 acres and 55 units to the overall project. The 48.88 <br />acre addition is located to the east of the existing Indian River <br />Country Club development area, east of the Lateral J canal and west <br />of 1st Avenue S.E. (see attachment #2). The 48.88 acre addition <br />will be used to expand the proposed golf course and, under future <br />preliminary plans, to add additional residential units. Some of <br />the 55 additional units will be constructed within the 48.88 acre <br />addition; the remainder will be distributed throughout existing <br />overall project area. <br />The approval steps in the PD process are as follows: - <br />Approval Needed <br />1.
