poor PU 2 Fac- 983 <br />Current ordinances do not allow compensation for R/W dedication for <br />a local road, so the developer is reluctant to give up property <br />which would neither be improved nor paved. He would like to work <br />it out with staff in the future, but he did not know if it would be <br />able to be resolved and he wanted to make the Commissioners aware. <br />Commissioner Bird inquired if the golf course would be _ <br />reconfigured, and Mr. Swift responded that the 5th and 6th holes <br />will be moved and replaced by additional green space, a tennis and <br />swim center, and some residential development. <br />It was determined that no one else wished to be heard and the <br />Chairman closed the public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously <br />approved the request with conditions as set_ <br />forth in staff's memorandum. <br />The Board discussed concerns about habitat set -asides when <br />there is no evidence of endangered species, and Director Keating <br />explained that following an environmental survey, U.S. Fish and <br />Wildlife service determines whether a habitat needs to be <br />established in a specific area. <br />PUBLIC HEARING —PROPOSED ORDINANCE LEVYING ADDITIONAL <br />SURCHARGE OF $12.50 FOR EACH MOVING TRAFFIC VIOLATION <br />TO FUND AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL RADIO COAEyIUNICATION <br />PROGRAM <br />The hour of 9:05 a.m. having passed, the County Attorney <br />announced that this public hearing has been properly advertised as <br />follows: <br />88 <br />July 199 1994 <br />
