Thompson, P.E. <br />Capital Projects Manager <br />SUBJECT: Round Island Park Phase I <br />Florida Boating Improvement Project <br />Grant iR�endment <br />DATE: July 25, 1994 <br />The Florida Boating Improvement Program Grant for Round Island <br />Park required that construction be completed by February 17, <br />1994. The County issued substantial completion to the Contractor <br />on February 17; 1994,but final payment was not issued.until April <br />28, 1994. Final payment was withheld until the Contractor <br />completed the project punch list. <br />The County received verbal approval from the Department of <br />Environmental Protection to extend the grant to cover the time <br />between substantial completion and final payment. Attached is an <br />Amendment to extend the date for completion to September 30, <br />1994. <br />Staff recommends that the Board approve the attached FBIP Project <br />Amendment. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Macht, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously approved <br />the FBIP Project Agreement Amendment for Round <br />Island Park, Phase I, as recommended by staff. <br />AGREEMENT AMENDMENT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE <br />OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />25 <br />August 2, 1994 <br />
