r <br />Michael O'Haire, attorney for the applicant, stated he was <br />available to answer any questions the Board may have. <br />There being no others who wished to be heard, the Chairman <br />closed the Public Hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously (4-0, <br />Commissioner Bird being absent) adopted Ordinance <br />94-26, rezoning approximately 30.55 acres from A-1 <br />to IG. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 94-26 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE <br />ZONING ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP FROM A-1 TO <br />IG, FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 600 FEET SOUTH OF <br />9TH STREET, S.W., AND APPROXIMATELY ONE HALF OF A MILE WEST OF <br />74TH AVENUE, AND DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the <br />local planning agency on such matters, has held a public hearing <br />and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this rezoning <br />request; and <br />WHEREAS; the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, did publish and send its Notice of Intent to <br />rezone the hereinafter described property; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that <br />this rezoning is in conformance with the Comprehensive Plan of ' <br />Indian River County; and _ <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has held a public <br />hearing pursuant to this rezoning request, at which parties in <br />interest qnd citizens were heard; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that the Zoning of <br />the following described property situated in Indian River County, <br />Florida, to -wit: <br />September 6, 1994 47 Boa 93 pnf. 216 <br />
