SECTION 0122 00 ! {; <br />UNIT PRICES <br />PART1 GENERAL <br />1.01 SECTION INCLUDES <br />A. Administrative and procedural requirements for unit prices. <br />1.02 RELATED DOCUMENTS <br />A. Drawings and general provisions of the Contract, including General and Supplementary <br />Conditions and Specification Sections, apply to this Section. <br />1.03 DEFINITION <br />A. Unit price is an amount proposed by Bidders, stated on the Bid Form, as a price per unit <br />of measurement for materials or services added to or deducted from the Contract Sum by. <br />appropriate modification, if estimated quantities of Work required by the Contract <br />Documents are increased or decreased. <br />1.04 UNIT PRICE MEASUREMENT <br />A. Prior to performing any work under a unit price as specified herein, the Contractor shall <br />notify the Engineer to allow for measurement of the actual quantities of work. Any work <br />performed under these items without prior approval and measurement shall be at the <br />Contractor's expense. <br />B. The Contractor shall maintain a daily log including visual documentation (i.e. digital <br />photographs) showing dates, location and exact quantities of unit price work. <br />C. Owner and Engineer reserve the right to reject Contractor's measurement of work-in- <br />place <br />ork in- <br />place that involves use of established unit prices and to have this work measured, at <br />Owner's expense, by an independent party. <br />1.05 UNIT PRICE PAYMENT <br />A. Unit prices shall include all costs associated with performing the unit price work <br />including but not limited to labor, material, equipment, insurance, applicable taxes, <br />overhead and profit, etc. <br />1.06 UNIT PRICE PERFORMANCE <br />A. Unit price work shall be installed in accordance with the applicable specification <br />section(s) and Contract Drawings for the project. <br />PART 2 PRODUCTS (NOT USED) <br />PART 3 EXECUTION <br />3.01 SCHEDULE OF UNIT PRICES <br />A.
