For these reasons it is <br />important for all employees to understand the limitations of portable fire extinguishers (PFE's) and the <br />extent of employee involvement in the fighting of fires. <br />First we will discuss fire and extinguisher types. There are numerous types of extinguishers. What is <br />more important to know is the different types of fires that can occur, and deciding which type of fire <br />extinguisherto select.
