Consent Agenda 4-3-18 <br />Page 2 <br />Staff is also requesting authorization for the purchase of 30 type K temporary median barriers <br />(Jersey Barriers) in order to immediately stabilize, on a temporary basis, heavily eroded sections <br />of the roadway while the large scale project can be fully designed and permitted. Temporary <br />stabilization is authorized under FDEP Emergency Final Order — OGC No. 17-0989 (Hurricane <br />Irma 2017). Based on previous quotes, Jersey Barriers are $500 each.
