CHANDLER <br />COUNTY ADMINISTRRATOORR <br />FROM: TERRANCE G. <br />DIRECTOR F UTILITY�S <br />PREPARED WILLIAM Mc <br />AND STAFFED CAAPI CTS ENGINEER <br />BY: DE OF UTILITY SERVICES <br />SUBJECT: AMENDMEN'P TO THE COUNTY'S EXISTING <br />GREASE TRAP ORDINANCE <br />.BACKGROUND AND ANALYSIS <br />The modification to thegrease trap ordinance has been necessitated <br />by recent cases of existing. auto garage floor drainage systems being <br />connected to the County's sewer system without proper grease trap <br />installation. The proposed changes (see attached revisions) insure <br />that HRS will review with the director any such future connections <br />_and have them signed off by him.. <br />REC�iTDATION <br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends that the <br />Board of County Commissioners concur with the proposed ordinance <br />changes and set a public hearing date for November 1, 1994. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Macht, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously <br />scheduled a public hearing on the proposed <br />ordinance on November 8, 1994, at 9:05 a.m. <br />32 <br />October 11, 1994 <br />
