Gray, Jr. <br />Natural Resources Manager <br />SUBJECT: Full Release of Retainage for Ecological Associates, Inc., <br />Work Order No. 22 — Sector 3 Beach Restoration — 2017 Post <br />Construction Biological Monitoring Services <br />DATE: April 4, 2018 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />On March 19, 2013 the Board approved a contract with Ecological Associates, Inc. (EAI) for <br />professional coastal environmental services in Indian River County for a two-year term, 2013- <br />2015. On March 17, 2015, the Board renewed the contract until March 19, 2017. On April 11, <br />2017 the Board extended the contract until December 31, 2017. EAI was the selected County <br />consultant for professional biological monitoring services related to the Sector 3 Beach <br />Restoration Project. <br />On February 14, 2017, the Board approved Work Order No. 22, in the amount of $122,398, for <br />permit required services related to post construction sea turtle monitoring of the Sector 3 Beach <br />Restoration Project. <br />All tasks under Work Order No. 22 are 100 percent. <br />The subject of this agenda item is the release of all withheld retainage in the amount of <br />$12,239.80. <br />FUNDING <br />Local funding of Beach Restoration includes a portion of Local Option Tourist Tax Revenue as <br />well as allocation of the One Cent Sales Tax.
