S
INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA
MEMORANDUM
TO: Jason E. Brown, County Administrator
FROM: Richard B. Szpyrka, P.E., Public Works Director
SUBJECT: First Amendment to Custodial Services Between Indian River County and
W&G Maintenance Corp.
DATE: April 23, 2018
DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS
On March 6, 2018 the Board of County Commissioners approved the agreement with W&G
Maintenance Corp. for custodial services in County facilities (Group 3 - the 4.3`d Avenue
Complex).
The Sheriff's General Services Modular, Building K, was inadvertently left off the list of
buildings to be cleaned and not included in the RFP. Attached is the first amendment to the
custodial services agreement with W&G which adds services at the Sheriff's General Services
Modular Building K to the existing agreement. This building is approximately 1200 square feet
and will be an additional $540 per month.
FUNDING
Funding will come from Facilities Management — Other Contractual Services account
00122019-033490.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Board approve the First Amendment to Custodial Services Between Indian
River County and W&G Maintenance Corp. Staff further recommends the Board approve the
amendment and authorize the Chairman to execute it after review and approval by the County
Attorney as to form and legal sufficiency.
APPROVED AGENDA ITEM FOR May 1, 2018
C:\Users\legistar\AppData\Local\Temp\BCL Technologies\easyPDF 184
8\@BCL@240EB7D8\@BCL@240EB7D8.doc
