Page 2 <br />BCC Agenda Item —May 1, 2018 <br />Sector 5 Beach and Dune Restoration Project <br />April 16, 2018 <br />FUNDING <br />Local funding of Beach Restoration includes a portion of Local Option Tourist Tax Revenue as well <br />as allocation of the One Cent Sales Tax. Funding is budgeted and available for the Sector 5 Beach <br />Restoration Project in the Beach Restoration Fund, Hurricane Matthew Account - Sector 5, No. <br />12814472-066510-17001. <br />With the issuance of FEMA Project Worksheet (No. IRGAG04 — Hurricane Matthew, FEMA 4283 - <br />DR -FL), project related design; permitting, and construction expenses are eligible for up to 87.5% <br />in Federal and State cost share. FEMA funds are currently in que to be obligated. <br />Additionally, although a Florida Department of Environmental Protection grant funding has not <br />been appropriated for the Sector 5 Beach and Dune Restoration Project to date, Work Order No. <br />2018029-1 is eligible for 46.65% cost share reimbursement if State funds become available. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The recommendation of staff is for the Board to approve Work Order No. 2018029-1 to the <br />contract with APTIM Environmental & Infrastructure, Inc. and authorize the Chairman to sign on <br />behalf of the County. <br />ATTACHMENT <br />APTIM Work Order No. 2018029-1 <br />APPROVED AGENDA ITEM FOR: MAY 1, 2018 <br />C:\Users\legistar\AppData\Local\Temp\BCL Technologies\easyPDF 8\@BCL@840D3BAA\@BCL@840D3BAA.docx 57 <br />
