Grand Harbor --Construction - Assignment of Warranty to County for <br />Utilities Maintenance Bond - Plat 15, St. Andrews Island <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated October 13,. 1994: <br />TO: BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />t� R - <br />FROM: Lea R�Keller, CIA, County Attorney's Office <br />THRU: Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney <br />DATE: October 13, 1994 <br />RE: Grand Harbor Construction - Assignment of Warranty to Couaty <br />for Utility Maintenance Bond - Plat 13, St. Andrews Island <br />The Development Order for Grand Harbor required that certain utility <br />improvements be constructed. The contractor (Jobear, Inc.) has issued a <br />warranty in favor of Grand Harbor (Proctor Construction Company), and <br />they are now assigning the Maintenance Bond to the County. The attached <br />Assignment of- Rights under Maintenance Bond is this agreement and <br />requires the Chairman's signature to accept it on behalf of the County. <br />If for some reason the Assignment fails and there is warranty work to be <br />performed, Grand Harbor has agreed to enforce the Maintenance Bond <br />according to its terms. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: Board authorize the Chairman to sign the <br />attached Assignment. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously <br />approved the Assignment of Rights Under <br />Maintenance Bond from Proctor Construction <br />Company, as recommended by staff. <br />ASSIGNMENT OF RIGHTS DOCUMENT <br />IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE --OF CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />F.
