Collins II - Deputy County Attorney <br />DATE: October 17, 1994 _ <br />SUBJECT: Release and Substitution of Conservation Easement - Corrigan <br />Ranch <br />In 1992 a Conservation Easement was placed over 11 acres of the Corrigan <br />Ranch in association with mining permitting activities. Subsequently the St. <br />Johns River Water Management District has required- the -Corrigan to provide <br />more extensive conservation easements. <br />REQUEST: <br />1. Release the County's 11 -acre Conservation Easement. <br />2. Accept a new Conservation Easement covering 44.54 acres, which <br />easement is made out jointly to the St. Johns River Water Management <br />District and Indian River County. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Accept the substituted Conservation Easement and authorize the Chairman to <br />execute the Release of Conservation Easement originally provided. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously <br />approved the Release and Substitution of <br />Conservation Easement for the Corrigan Ranch, <br />as recommended by staff. <br />RELEASE AND SUBSTITUTION OF CONSERVATION EASEMENT <br />ARE RECORDED IN THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />G. 58th Avenue Right -of -Way Acquisition: Frank G.
