SECTION 07 0150 <br /> PREPARATION FOR REROOFING <br /> PART 1 GENERAL <br /> 1.01 SECTION INCLUDES <br /> A. Preparatory work to be completed prior to roof installation including but not limited to: <br /> 1. Removal of existing roof assemblies down to the structural deck. <br /> 2. Repairs to structural deck. <br /> 3. Fastener withdrawal tests on Sectors A&B. <br /> 4. Soil pipe extensions. <br /> 5. Installation and/or modification of through wall overflow scuppers. <br /> 1.02 RELATED DOCUMENTS <br /> A. Drawings and general provisions of the Contract, including General and Supplementary <br /> Conditions and Specification Sections,apply to this Section,including but not limited to: <br /> 1. Steel Roof Deck Repair/Securement Section 05 31 23 <br /> 2. Rough Carpentry Section 06 10 00 <br /> 3. Roof Insulation Section 07 22 16 <br /> 4. Thermoplastic Single Ply Roofing Section 07 54 00 <br /> 1.03 DEFINITIONS <br /> A. Removal: Remove and legally dispose of items except those indicated to be reinstalled, <br /> salvaged,or to remain property of the Owner. <br /> B. Existing to remain: Protect construction indicated to remain against damage and soiling <br /> during selective demolition. When permitted by Engineer, items may be removed to a <br /> suitable,protected storage location during selective demolition and then cleaned and rein- <br /> stalled in their original locations. <br /> C. Material ownership: Except for items or materials indicated to be reused, salvaged, rein- <br /> stalled, or otherwise indicated to remain the Owner's property, demolished materials <br /> shall become the Contractor's property and shall be removed from the site. <br /> 1.04 EXISTING ROOF ASSEMBLIES* <br /> A.
