The position works under general supervision independently developing work <br />methods and sequences. <br />Primary Duties: This list represents the essential tasks performed by the position. <br />Employees may be assigned additional duties by management as required. <br />Supports and oversees support of circuit -wide court system software/hardware <br />applications, including but not limited to the digital court recording system, judicial <br />viewer case management system, Microsoft Active Directory configuration and <br />management, and external entity web -based applications local administration, such as <br />Clerk, FDLE, FACCC, and other external applications. <br />Manages staff, including selecting or recommending selection, training, assigning and <br />evaluating work, providing guidance, counseling, disciplining, and terminating or <br />recommending termination. <br />Directs and manages staff through the process of planning, designing, creating, <br />implementing and maintaining software applications to enhance the technology and <br />application requirements of the Courts System. Oversees staff development of training/ <br />training materials for end-users. <br />Plans, schedules, coordinates, designs, participates in the planning, design, <br />specification, purchase recommendation and acquisition of hardware and software <br />required for Court System applications. <br />Secondary Duties: This list represents the secondary tasks performed by the position. <br />Employees may be assigned additional duties by management as required. <br />Assists in the expansion and management of the circuit -wide court data network. <br />Assists in the development and maintenance of all aspects of network documentation; <br />provides server and workstation support for courts. This will include providing <br />assistance for installation and configuration of new routers, edits of current <br />configurations, troubleshoots, and corrects routing issues. <br />Assists in providing data and system backup and provides anti-virus maintenance and <br />support. Assists in the management of circuit -wide e-mail systems; and provides <br />related technical support and training for users as required. <br />Performs related work as requested or assigned. <br />ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL SKILLS: <br />Use of hands and fingers with dexterity. Good vision and hearing. Periodic walking and <br />standing. Ability to lift occasionally 30 pounds. Ability to operate a county vehicle. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITION REQUIREMENTS: <br />65 <br />
