Resolution Cancelling Taxes Upon Publicly Owned Lands <br />The Board reviewed memo from Deputy County Attorney William G. <br />Collins II dated October 20, 1994: <br />TO: <br />The Board <br />of County <br />Commissioners <br />FROM: <br />W<-- <br />William G. <br />Collins II - <br />Deputy County Attorney <br />DATE: October 20-, 1994 <br />SUBJECT: A Resolution Cancelling Taxes Upon Publicly Owned Lands <br />A resolution has been prepared for the purpose of cancelling any delinquent <br />or current taxes which may exist on. the following property acquired by <br />Indian River County for right-of-way purposes: <br />Right -of -Way acquired from Sal P. Suriano; Steven R. Taylor <br />and Patricia McDonald; Victor and Mildred E. Griffin; and Edwin E. and <br />Betty D. Flannery, fully described in that Maintenance Map for 26th Street <br />(Walker -Avenue), recorded in -Plat Book 14, Pages 18-18A, Public <br />Records of Indian River County, Florida. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Authorize the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners to execute the <br />Resolution cancelling certain taxes upon publicly owned lands, and the Clerk <br />- to send a certified copy of same to the Tax Collector and Property Appraiser <br />so that any delinquent or current taxes can be cancelled. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution 94-141 cancelling certain taxes upon <br />publicly owned lands, as recommended by staff. - <br />16 <br />November 1, 1994 <br />
