IIS -93 -17 -CS <br />BACKGROUND <br />On April 12, 1994, the Board of County Commissioners approved and <br />executed the agreement with R. A. Litkenhaus and Associates, Inc., <br />to replace the aeration system for the Gifford Wastewater Treatment <br />facility. The agreement was for services in the amount of <br />$69,843.00. <br />ANALYSIS <br />The replacement of the aeration system is complete and in operation. <br />The contractor has submitted his request for final payment in the <br />amount of $23,624.00. The previous payment to the contractor was <br />$46,219.00. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The staff of the Department of —Utility Services recommends the <br />approval o€ -the final payment in- the amount of $23,624.00 to R.
