Sleeve -Type, or Wedge -Type, Expansion Anchor: Minimum 1/2 inch diameter, <br />Type 304 or 316 Stainless Steel, Expansion Anchor Bolt Assembly of length as <br />required to provided minimum embedment as required by fastener manufacturer <br />based upon substrate being secured. Acceptable manufacturers include: <br />a. Lok/Bolt, Power Bolt or Power -Stud by Powers Fasteners <br />b. Redi-Bolt, Dynabolt or Trubolt by Red Head Anchoring Systems <br />C. Kwik Bolt by Hilti <br />d. Engineers accepted equivalent. <br />F. Wood to structural steel (greater than 12 -GA.): <br />#12-24 DP5 (for steel thickness up to 1/2") or DP4 (for steel thickness from 1/8" <br />to 3/8"), flat or hex head, corrosion resistant, self-drilling/self-tapping fastener of <br />length to provide minimum 3 pitches of thread through metal thicknesses. <br />Acceptable manufacturers include: <br />a. ITW Buildex Teks <br />b. SFS Intec <br />C. Blazer <br />d. Engineers accepted equivalent <br />G. Wood to Grouted Cavity: <br />Grout: High strength, non-metallic, non -shrink grout for precision grouting and <br />general construction Conform to ASTM C476 and ASTM C 1107. Acceptable <br />manufacturers include Commercial Grade Quikrete, Precision Grout, Kauffman <br />SureGrout or Engineers accepted equivalent. Grout type proportioned by volume <br />as follows: <br />a. Portland cement or blended hydraulic cement: one part. <br />b. Hydrated lime: 0 to 1/10 part. <br />C. Fine aggregate: 2-1/4 to three times sum of volumes of cement and lime <br />used. <br />d. Coarse aggregate: one to two times sum of volumes of cement and lime <br />used. <br />e. Sum of volumes of fine and coarse aggregates: Do not exceed four times <br />sum of volumes of cement and lime used. <br />2. Bolt: corrosion resistant threaded J bolt meeting ASTM A 307, Grade A with <br />ASTM A 563 hex nuts and flat washers, diameter of 1/2". <br />H.
