Human Resources <br />12.D.1. 18-2160 Collective Bargaining Agreement between Indian River County and <br />Teamsters, Local Union No. 769 - FY2018/19 General Wage Increase <br />Recommended Action: Staff respectfully recommends approval of a 2.75% general wage increase for <br />employees represented by the Teamsters, Local Union No. 769 effective the <br />first full pay period in October 2018 and requests the Board authorize its <br />Chairman to .sign the amendment to Article 33 - Wages of the collective <br />bargaining agreement providing for the general wage increase. <br />Attachments: Staff Report <br />Second Amendment -Article 33 <br />Exhibit A <br />County Administrator Jason Brown informed the Board that a tentative <br />agreement had been reached to provide a 2.75% general wage increase for <br />employees represented by the Teamsters, Local Union 769. Staff <br />recommended Board approval of the adjustment. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Flescher, seconded by Commissioner <br />Zorc, that staffs recommendation be approved. The motion carried by the <br />following vote: <br />Aye: 5- Chairman O'Bryan, Vice Chairman Solari, Commissioner Adams, Commissioner <br />Flescher, and Commissioner Zorc <br />E. Public Works <br />12.F.1. 18-2142 Award of Bid No: 2018059 North County Offices at Sebastian Corners <br />Recommended Action: Staff recommends that the project be awarded to W&J Construction Corp. in <br />the amount of $1,775,911.00 and requests that the Board of County <br />Commissioners approve the sample agreement and authorize the Chairman to <br />execute said agreement after receipt and approval of the required <br />Indian River County Florida Page 20 <br />
