Board of County Commissioners Meeting Minutes-Final September 19,2018 <br /> the County Budget Officer's estimates of receipts other than taxes and of balances to <br /> be brought forward for Fiscal Year 2018-2019 and adopting a final budget for the <br /> Emergency Services District. The motion carried by the following vote: <br /> Aye: 5- Chairman O'Bryan,Vice Chairman Solari, Commissioner Adams, Commissioner <br /> Flescher, and Commissioner Zorc <br /> Land Acquisition Bonds-2004 Referendum <br /> 5.E. 18-2295 Proposed millage is 0.2827 (rollback rate does not apply) and <br /> proposed budget amount is $4,684,226. <br /> Recommended Action: Approve millage rate and adopt millage resolution. Approve dollar <br /> amount and adopt the budget resolution. <br /> Attachments: Land Acquisition Bonds <br /> Acting Budget Manager Kristin Daniels relayed that the proposed millage for <br /> the Land Acquisition Bonds - 2004 Referendum is 0.2827 (rolled back rate <br /> does not apply), and the proposed budget amount is $4,684,226. <br /> The Chairman opened the floor to public comments, there were no speakers, <br /> and the public comment session was closed. <br /> There were no proposed changes to the millage rate. <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Zorc,seconded by Chairman O'Bryan, <br /> to approve the millage rate for the Land Acquisition Bonds-2004 <br /> Referendum,of 0.2827(rollback rate does not apply), and to approve <br /> Resolution 2018-093, establishing the tax millage rate to be levied upon all <br /> real and personal taxable property in Indian River County, Florida,for Fiscal <br /> Year 2018-2019 for the General Obligation Land Acquisition Bond Issue— <br /> 2004 Referendum. The motion carried by the following vote: <br /> There were no changes to the proposed budget. <br /> A motion was made by Vice Chairman Solari,seconded by Commissioner <br /> Flescher,to approve the budget of$4,684,226 for the Land Acquisition <br /> Bonds—2004 Referendum, and approved Resolution 2018-094,amending <br /> the County Budget Officer's estimates of receipts other than taxes and of <br /> balances to be brought forward for Fiscal Year 2018-2019 and adopting a <br /> final budget for the General Obligation Land Acquisition Bond Issue—2004 <br /> Referendum. The motion carried by the following vote: <br /> Aggregate <br /> Proposed millage is 5.9950 and is 5.23% above rollback rate of 5.6969 <br /> Indian River County Florida Page 5 <br />
