CHANDLER <br />COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR <br />FROM: TERRANCE G. PINWG-`a <br />DIRECTOR OF UTILITY <br />PREPARED WILLIAM F. MCCAIN <br />AND STAFFED CAPITAL PROJECTS ENGI <br />BY: DEPARTMENT OF UTILITY <br />SUBJECT: AMENDMENT TO THE COUNTY'S EXISTING <br />GREASE TRAP ORDINANCE <br />BACKGROUND AND ANALYSIS <br />The modification to the grease trap ordinance has,been necessitated <br />by recent cases of existing auto garage floor drainage systems being _ <br />connected to the- County's sewer system without proper grease trap <br />installation. The proposed changes (see attached revisions) insure <br />that HRS will review with the director any such future connections <br />and have them signed off by him. <br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends that the <br />Board of County Commissioners concur with the proposed ordinance <br />changes and adopt same at public hearing on November 8, 1994. <br />The hour of 9:05 a.m. having passed, the County Attorney <br />announced that the public hearing has been properly advertised on <br />October 14, 1994, as follows: <br />November 8, 1994 <br />BOOK bd PAiIA 7° <br />
