BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />October 18, 2018 <br />Kasey Godwin, District Manager <br />Waste Management of Florida <br />431077 th Street <br />Vero Beach, Florida, 32966 <br />Re: Emergency Contract Memorandum of Understanding Supplemental to Franchise Agreement for Red Tide <br />Response <br />Dear Mr. Godwin: <br />Pursuant to the terms of.the 2015 Franchise Agreement (RFP# 2015023), Waste Management (`WM") and the Solid <br />Waste Disposal District ("SWDD") agree that: <br />WM will provide 20 -yard open top roll -off containers to locations requested by Indian River County ("County") at <br />the current franchise rate of $175.81 per container (billed per haul). Disposable liners for the containers will also <br />be provided at a rate of $40 per liner per container, with each container requiring one liner. At no point in time are <br />containers permitted to be placed on the sandy beach east of the vegetation line unless authorized by county <br />personnel. <br />Full containers shall be removed and transported to the County Landfill on a daily basis, with no tipping fees payable <br />by WM. Empty containers with liners will be returned to locations specified by the County. <br />Indian River County's in -field point of contact for this project is James Ennis, P.E., County Engineer.
