Brown <br />County Administrator <br />DATE: October 11, 2018 <br />SUBJECT: Emergency Addition: Ratification of Red Tide Clean Up Work Order #2, <br />Ceres Environmental Services <br />It has been determined that in order to effectively and .expeditiously clean the coastline of Indian <br />River County, additional vehicles, equipment, and crews are necessary. Work Order Number 2 <br />with Ceres Environmental Services, Inc. has been executed by the County Administrator to <br />facilitate the clean-up, and it is requested that the Board of County Commission ratify Work <br />Order # 2. <br />Funding <br />Funding for these expenses will be provided by -the Florida Department of Environmental <br />Protection Grant on a 100% basis with no required local match. <br />These expenses will be accounted for in account number 11121441-033490-19005 <br />(Transportation Fund/Road & Bridge/ Other Professional Services — Red Tide Disposal). A <br />budget amendment will be necessary to allocate this funding. <br />Staff Recommendation <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners ratify Work Order #2 with Ceres <br />Environmental Services Inc. <br />Attachment — Ceres Environmental Services, Inc.
