equipment which is fabricated or delivered prior to the approval of Shop <br />Drawings. Materials or equipment requiring Shop Drawings which have <br />not yet received approval by the ENGINEER shall not be installed on the <br />project. Materials or equipment will not be included in periodic progress <br />payments until approval thereof has been obtained in the specified <br />manner. <br />O. ENGINEER will review and process all submittals promptly, but a <br />reasonable time should be allowed for this, for the Shop Drawings being <br />revised and resubmitted, and for time required to return the approved <br />Shop Drawings to CONTRACTOR. <br />P. Furnish required submittals with complete information and accuracy in <br />order to achieve required approval of an item within three submittals. All <br />costs to ENGINEER involved with subsequent submittals of Shop <br />Drawings, Samples or other items requiring approval, will be back -charged <br />to CONTRACTOR in accordance with the General Conditions and the <br />Supplementary Conditions. If the CONTRACTOR requests a substitution <br />for a previously approved item, all of ENGINEER'S costs in the reviewing <br />and approval of the substitution will be back -charged to CONTRACTOR <br />unless the need for such substitution is beyond the control of <br />CONTRACTOR. <br />+ + END OF SECTION + + <br />
