All information provided herein is hereby
incorporated into the bid documents.
1. Can the underdrain inverts be allowed to be raised? The plans show 10' depth and deeper. Will the system
be able to function at this depth? It appears it will be submitted in the ground water table. The underdrain
inverts are identified as required by IRFWCD. Raising the inverts will not allow the underdrain to perform
the desired function.
2. All side streets will need a longer MOT window, i.e. Sheet 2C note states "lane closures will be restricted to
the hours from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm" Can the MOT window be larger? The referenced MOT note applies to
lane closures not overall MOT proceedings. The purpose is to allow vehicular access from the residential
properties that reside south of 45th Street to 45th Street during peak -hour vehicular activities. The
Contractor has the option of proposing detour routes that may allow for extended land closures, based
upon IRC approval.
3. Regarding Pay Items 730-89, 730-90 and 730-91. 1 read it as we need to have the pumps on site for the
duration of the project. Is this correct? Temporary pumping systems shall be on-site any time the contractor
has blocked and/or impeded flow within the IRFWCD sub -lateral canal.
4. Do we need to have an MOT operation going at all times out side of the signage that will be required for the
project Duration, when working in the ditch along the road if our Equipment is not over or on the road
Example Excavator working in the ditch from the side of the road (Clearing Or Excavating) but not in the
road? The contractor shall have appropriate MOT devices installed on-site during operations consistent
with FDOT index 600 series.
5. 1 am bidding the 45th Street project and as I was going over the Plans and pay Items. I noticed what looks
like an oversight. The Drawings On Sheet No 3A under Pay Item Footnotes. Item no 110-7-2 It has to do with
B:\2018-2019 FY (2019000)\2019008 45th Street Beautification Phase 11 Rebid\Addendum l.docx
