Utilities Services <br />12.G.1. 18-2463 Valve Machine/Trailer Unit <br />Recommended action: Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners waives the <br />requirement to bid and authorize the Purchasing Department to issue a purchase <br />order for the purchase of the valve maintenance machine/trailer unit as well as <br />any ongoing repairs or replacement parts through E.H. Wachs. <br />Attachments: Staff Report <br />Wachs Valve Machine Quote <br />Wachs Sole Source Letter <br />Valve Nut RX Datasheet <br />Director of Utilities Services Vincent Burke described the maintenance and <br />repair requirements necessary to keep the County's water systems functioning. <br />In the Fiscal Year 2018/19 Budget, the Board had approved purchasing a new <br />valve machine to fulfill these requirements.
