Board of County Commissioners <br />Meeting Minutes - Final January 15, 2019 <br />A motion was made by Commissioner O'Bryan, seconded by Commissioner <br />Flescher, to adopt Ordinance 2019-004, amending Section 210.01 (Taxing District <br />and Levy) and Section 210.03 (authorized uses of revenue) of Chapter 210 <br />(Tourist Development Tax) of the Code of Indian River County, Florida in order to <br />allow for the fourth cent of the Tourist Development Tax to be used for promotion <br />and advertisement of tourism and clarify the use of Tourist Development Taxes <br />for promotion and advertisement of tourism; and providing for codification, <br />severability, repeal of conflicting provisions, and an effective date. The motion <br />carried by the following vote: <br />Aye: 5 - Chairman Solari, Vice Chairman Adams, Commissioner Flescher, Commissioner <br />O'Bryan, and Commissioner Zorc <br />B.
