It was placed here for continuity.) <br />Commissioner Flescher explained his desire for the County to present another <br />offer to the City of Vero Beach (the City) to purchase the former Dodgertown <br />Golf Course Property (the Property). He made mention of the revisions to the <br />previous offer, including a price increase to $2.45 million, and that the City <br />would be offered the right of first refusal to purchase the property in the event <br />that Verotown, LLC, concerning Major League Baseball (MLB), does not <br />renew their lease with the County. <br />Deputy County Attorney Bill DeBraal clarified the right of first refusal clause, <br />an addendum to the contract to be recorded at the time of closing, noting that <br />the City would have 30 days to notify the County of their intent to exercise the <br />Indian River County Florida Page 13 <br />
