BACKGROUND <br />The County acquired the Roseland Plaza Utility facilities by <br />Agreement on August 14, 1990. (See copy of Agreement attached) <br />Under the Agreement the County leased the existing utility sites <br />until the water and wastewater systems were connected to the County <br />regional systems. <br />The water and wastewater systems have been connected to the County <br />regional systems and the water and wastewater plants have been <br />removed from the sites. <br />Section VII of the Agreement states the "County to provide Seller <br />a Termination of Lease evidencing such termination in recordable <br />form." The attached termination of lease is submitted to comply <br />with the provisions of the Agreement. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends approval <br />of the attached Termination of Lease and authorize execution by the <br />Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously (4- <br />0, Commissioner Eggert absent) approved the <br />termination of lease. <br />COPY OF TERMINATION OF LEASE IS ON FILE <br />IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />G.
