NARASSO CORRIDOR PLAN <br />•NOTE: The intent of the hedge and berm combination is to provide <br />a visual screen 4' high above the grade of the project site parking <br />area. Therefore, at the time of a certificate of occupancy (CO) <br />for the projoct site, the combination of berming and hedging shall <br />provide a 4' visual screen. Undulations in the berm and <br />corresponding hedge height are encouraged. <br />Hedge shrubs shall be planted no further apart than 24" on center, <br />In a serpentine pattern along the length of the buffer strip. <br />Berms shall have a slope no steeper than 3 horizontal to i <br />v*rtical, and shall be continuous along the length of the buffer <br />strip, except where berm modifications may be necessary for tree <br />preservation as determined by the community development director or <br />his designee. <br />To provide a Less formal appearance, clustering trees along the <br />buffer strip is encouraged and uniform spacing of trees in <br />discouraged, except where used to emphasize a particular planting <br />theme or development style. <br />(Related Graphics on Next Page) <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY PAGE 19 <br />
