ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously <br />approved renewal of the Certificate of Public <br />Convenience and Necessity for the Indian River <br />Memorial Hospital Medical Transport Service <br />for two years and which is limited to inter- <br />facility advanced life support and non- <br />emergency transport. <br />COPY OF CERTIFICATE IS ON FILE <br />IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />COUNTY ADMINISTRATION BUILDING RENOVATIONS <br />General Services Director Sonny Dean reviewed the following <br />memo dated December 27, 1994: <br />TOs HONORABLE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />THRU: JAMES E. CHANDLER DATE: DECEMBER 27, 1994 <br />COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR <br />FROM: H.T. "SONNY" DEAN, DIRECTOR <br />DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES <br />SUBJECTS COUNTY ADMINISTRATION BUILDING RENOVATIONS <br />BACKGROUND: <br />In January 1994, staff presented to the Board a renovation plan <br />that would allow for expansion of work area for staff and some <br />Constitutional offices. This plan included the following: <br />1. Renovation of the Courthouse Annex and move Utility <br />Services into that building. <br />2. Expand Emergency Services into the space vacated by <br />Utility Services. <br />3. Renovate the storage area now used by Tax Collector <br />and Property Appraiser, to accommodate the Clerk's <br />Data Processing now located on the Second Floor. <br />4. Move Risk Management into a portion of the old Data <br />Processing area. <br />5. Move the Mail Room into where Risk Management is <br />now. <br />6. Expand the Tax Collector into the old mail room and <br />adjoining spare office area. <br />7. Expand Personnel into a portion of the Tax <br />Collector's area. <br />S. Move the Tax Collector's and Property Appraiser's <br />storage into the area presently occupied by Animal <br />Control. <br />9. Make minor renovations to the old State Attorney's <br />office building, to use as storage that requires a <br />controlled atmosphere. <br />31 <br />January 10, 1995�c .F; <br />
