Public Works <br />12.F.1. 19-0485 <br />Recommended Action: <br />Award of RFQ No. 2019040 (IRC -0853), CEI Services for 43rd Avenue from <br />18th Street to 26th Street <br />Staff recommends approval of Agreement with Consor Engineers, LLC, <br />authorizing the professional services as outlined in the Scope of Services and <br />requests the Board authorize the Chairman to execute Agreement on their <br />behalf for a lump sum amount of $2,452,760.67. <br />Attachments: Staff Report <br />Agreement <br />Exhibit A <br />Exhibit B <br />Exhibit C <br />Public Works Director Richard Szpyrka appeared before the Board requesting <br />approval of an agreement for Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) <br />Services for the intersection improvement project at 43rd Avenue and State <br />Road 60 (SR -60). He recalled that at the April 16, 2019 Board Meeting, <br />Commissioners approved entering negotiations with top-ranked consulting firm <br />Consor Engineers, LLC for CEI services, per the requirements of the County's <br />Incentive Grant Program with the Florida Department of Transportation <br />(FDOT). <br />Commissioner O'Bryan received confirmation that the cost for CEI Services <br />was in addition to the construction cost increase previously approved at the <br />June 4, 2019 Commission meeting. <br />Indian River County Florida Page 9 <br />
