He noted that many companies open up in August and September <br />and pay for a license but then pay to get another one in October. <br />He would like to see a pro -rated tax for the initial year. <br />Commissioner Eggert asked about the various sales events held <br />by the Center of the Arts and whether they could obtain one <br />license, and Mr. Zimmermann stated the Center is a non-profit <br />organization and doesn't need a license in itself. <br />Vice Chairman Adams opened the Public Hearing and asked if <br />anyone wished to be heard in this matter. <br />Nancy Offutt, Government Affairs Coordinator for the Realtor <br />Association of Indian River County, wished to clarify for the <br />record the matter of individual licenses for real estate sales <br />people.
