I will have to get back on that
issue. But, I mean, it's clearly things that our, our
folks, our public works department has reviewed carefully
in the plans and felt that they were necessary
improvements that they needed to see.
COMMISSIONER FLESCHER: And not the fact we're
looking at the gold standard and they are offering all,
because they're required to, at this, this silver podium.
ATTORNEY REINGOLD: That, that would be the
analogy of it I understand.
COMMISSIONER FLESCHER: Okay.
VICE CHAIRMAN SOLARI: Would it be safe to say
that when you add in all the public works' safety requests
that that would make each course in Indian River County a
quiet zone?
ATTORNEY REINGOLD: I believe it would make it
ineligible. But I will, I will note that there are...
there's at least one crossing, I believe two, that
actually they aren't going to be above 80 miles an hour or
meet 80 miles an hour. And Rich has requested for those
to be, essentially, a full sealed court order.
VICE CHAIRMAN SOLARI: I mean, we could use the
quiet zone as a way of establishing the bear minimum
requirements for each crossing.
VERO BEACH COURT REPORTERS
772-231-2231
22
