According to the <br />National Registry of Evidence -Based Programs and Practice, Child Parent Psychotherapy <br />(CPP) is an intervention for children from birth through age 5 who have experienced at least <br />one traumatic event and as a result, are experiencing behavior, attachment and/or mental <br />health problems. Through this intervention, children who have experienced toxic stress will be <br />able to develop normally, but their parents will build their capacity to be the best parent they <br />can be by recognizing how their past experiences influences the way they parent their <br />children. These services are provided in the child's natural environment (home or childcare <br />center). We are working in collaboration with Early Learning Coalition and Childcare <br />Resource Center. We currently have therapists embedded at the following childcare centers: <br />Childcare Resources, For Kids Only, Cradles to Crayons, Learning Nest, and TLC. Tykes & <br />Teens also provides Infant Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation (IECMHC) at the <br />
