Granule Embedment <br />B. Repair and Maintenance guide outlining roofing care and maintenance required in order <br />to maintain the guarantee. <br />C. Guarantee, as specified herein. <br />1.10 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Acceptable Products: Provide primary roofing products, including each type of sheet, all <br />manufactured in the United States, supplied by a single manufacturer which has been <br />successfully producing the specified types of primary products for not less than 10 years. <br />Provide secondary or accessory products which are acceptable to the manufacturer of <br />the primary roofing products. <br />B. Agency Approvals: The proposed roofing system shall conform to the following <br />requirements. No other testing agency approvals will be accepted. <br />1. Underwriters Laboratories Class A acceptance of the proposed roofing system. <br />2. Florida Product Approval: The roofing system shall meet or exceed all requirements <br />listed in FL10432-R12 System LS -M-1. <br />C. Project Acceptance: Submit a completed manufacturer's application for guarantee form <br />along with shop drawings of the areas to be roofed showing all dimensions, penetrations, <br />and details. The form shall contain all the technical information applicable to the project <br />including deck types, slopes, and manufacturer's membrane assembly proposed for <br />installation. The form shall also contain accurate and complete information requested <br />including proper names, addresses, zip codes and telephone numbers. The project must <br />receive approval, through this process, prior to shipment of materials to the project site. <br />D. Attend necessary job meetings and furnish competent and full time supervision, <br />experienced roof mechanics, all materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete, <br />in an acceptable manner, the roof installation in accordance with this specification. <br />Comply with the latest written application instructions of the manufacturer of the primary <br />roofing products. In addition, application practice shall comply with requirements and <br />recommendations contained in the latest edition of the Handbook of Accepted Roofing <br />Knowledge (HARK) as published by the National Roofing Contractor's Association, <br />amended to include the acceptance of a phased roof system installation. <br />E. Local Regulations: Conform to regulations of public agencies, including any specific <br />requirements of the city and/or state of jurisdiction. <br />
