INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — NORTH COUNTY REGIONAL PARK PAGE 7 <br />AQUATIC FACILITY ROOFING REPLACEMENT SECTION 075216 <br />JUNE 7, 2019 MODIFIED BITUMINOUS MEMBRANE ROOFING <br />overloading of deck and building structure. Store materials such as solvents, adhesives <br />and asphalt cutback products away from open flames, sparks or excessive heat. Cover <br />all material using a breathable cover such as a canvas. Polyethylene or other non - <br />breathable plastic coverings are not acceptable. <br />E. Store all pail goods in their original undamaged containers in a clean, dry location, <br />between 60 degrees F and 80 degrees F. <br />F. Do not store catalyst in direct sunlight or in temperatures below 32 or above 77 degrees <br />F. Always store in a cool, dry location. <br />G. All combustible materials including, but not limited to catalyst, propane tanks, and <br />cleaning solvents must be removed from the work areas every day. Store per <br />manufacturer's instructions. <br />H. Do not expose materials to moisture in any form before, during, or after delivery to the <br />site. Reject delivery of materials that show evidence of contact with moisture. <br />1. Remove manufacturer supplied plastic covers from materials provided with such. Use <br />"breathable" type covers such as canvas tarpaulins to allow venting and protection from <br />weather and moisture. Cover and protect materials at the end of each work day. Do not <br />remove any protective tarpaulins until immediately before the material will be installed. <br />J. Any materials that are found to be damaged or stored in any manner other than stated <br />above will be automatically rejected, removed and replaced at the contractor's expense. <br />K. Handle all materials in such a manner as to preclude damage and contamination with <br />moisture or foreign matter. Handle rolled goods to prevent damage to edges or ends. <br />L. All equipment, including rags, which may have been used to apply solvents, cleaners and <br />other flammable material must be disposed of in a fire -safe container that meets OSHA <br />guidelines and is certified by FM Global and UL. <br />1.12 PROJECT CONDITIONS <br />A. Precipitation: Do not apply roofing materials during precipitation or in the event there is a <br />probability of precipitation during application. Take adequate precautions to ensure <br />materials, applied roofing, and building interiors are protected from possible moisture <br />damage or contamination. <br />1.13 SEQUENCING <br />A. Coordinate work to minimize construction traffic required over complete roofing system. <br />
