Zito, Assistant County Administrator <br />From: Bela Nagy, Sandridge Golf Professional <br />Subject: Sandridge Golf Cart Concrete Path Repair Final Payment and Release of <br />Retainage. <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS: <br />On May 21, 2019, the Board of County Commissioners awarded Bid No. 2019054 to. Summit <br />Construction of Vero Beach, LLC in the amount of $113,300.00 for the repair of approximately <br />94LF of cart path and the installation of approximately 2,835 LF of new path on the Dunes and <br />Lakes Courses. <br />Change Order No. 1, in the amount of $4,961.70, was approved under the authority of the County <br />Administrator for purchase of additional concrete for repair of cracked paths adjacent to the new <br />paths being poured, bringing the total contract amount to $118,261.70. <br />Summit Construction has successfully completed the project and has been paid $84,371.13. <br />FUNDING: <br />Funds for Payment No. 2 are available in the Sandridge/Golf Course Improvements, Acct# 418- <br />164044 and for Payment No. 3 in Sandridge/Retainage-Summit Construction, Acct#418-206000. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff respectfully recommends approval for payment of Application for Payment No. 2 of <br />$22,064.40 and Application for Payment No. 3 for the release of retainage in the amount of <br />$11,826.17, for total payment of $33,890.57 to Summit Construction of Vero Beach, LLC. <br />APPROVED AGENDA ITEM FOR OCTOBER 1, 2019 <br />117 <br />
