IRRIGATION SYSTEM <br />PART 1: GENERAL <br />1.01 Scope <br />Section 02810 <br />Irrigation <br />The intent of these Specifications is to provide a complete irrigation system, <br />which shall operate in an effective and satisfactory manner so that it shall <br />effectively irrigate all areas to be covered. The Specifications, design <br />details, and irrigation designs are to be considered a part of the system <br />irrigation contract. The Work shall consist of furnishing all labor, material, <br />equipment, and services required for all Work as described in this Section <br />of the Specifications and the Drawings. The Drawings and Specifications <br />are intended to include everything obviously required and necessary for the <br />proper installation of the system whether each necessary item is mentioned <br />herein or not, and the system Contractor is expected to provide for the <br />same, including the electrical service to power the pump stations. All Work <br />specified or called for on the Drawings shall be executed in accordance <br />with all governing ordinances, laws, codes, and regulations, and shall meet <br />all local conditions and any changes and/or additions shall be made without <br />additional expends to Owner. <br />1.03 Bidding: Each bidder submitting a proposal for this Contract shall be responsible to <br />inspect the site to acquaint himself with the nature of conditions which will be <br />encountered during construction. Bidder shall make himself aware of all existing <br />and/or proposed utilities in area of work. Submission of the proposal shall be <br />considered as evidence that the examination has taken place. <br />1.04 Dimensions: All dimensions indicated for the irrigation design are approximate. <br />Prior to proceeding with the Work, the Contractor shall carefully check and verify all <br />dimensions and shall report all variation from those indicated in the irrigation plan <br />to the Landscape Architect in writing. <br />1.05 Ordinances, Regulations, Codes, Permits and Inspections: The Contractor shall <br />follow all applicable regulations, ordinances, codes, and laws governing the Work. <br />Permits and inspections that are required for the installation of the Work shall be <br />obtained and paid for by the Contractor. The Contractor shall arrange for and be <br />present during all required inspections. Any additional Work or furnishing of <br />materials required due to inspection by the authorities of jurisdiction shall be <br />furnished at no cost to the Owner. <br />1.06 Guarantee: The Contractor shall guarantee the system for one (1) year from date <br />of final acceptance by the Owner and the Landscape Architect. The guarantee_ <br />shall include all material and workmanship. The guarantee shall also cover the <br />repair of damage to any part of the premises resulting from leaks or other defects <br />in materials, equipment and/or workmanship.
