Section 02810 <br />Irrigation <br />1.07 As -Built Record Drawings: The Contractor shall provide and keep up to date a <br />complete set of as -built drawings which shall be corrected daily to show changes in <br />the locations of sprinklers, sleeves, landscape features, plants, structures, piping, <br />and other deviations form the original irrigation design drawing. All valve locations <br />shall be shown with actual measured dimensions to reference points so they may <br />be located easily in the field. The drawings shall also indicate and show all <br />approved substitutions, material, manufacturers name, catalog name, and number. <br />Upon completion of the Work, the Contractor shall furnish the Owner with a <br />complete set of as -built drawings (on reproducible mylar) showing the irrigation <br />system as installed. This is the responsibility of the Contractor and shall not be <br />construed to be the responsibility of any other party. These drawings shall be <br />delivered to the Owners representative before final acceptance of the work. <br />1.08 Training of Maintenance Personnel: Upon completion of the Work and final <br />acceptance by the Owner, the Contractor shall be responsible for the training of <br />maintenance personnel in the operation, maintenance, and repair of the system. <br />The Contractor shall furnish copies of all parts list, trouble shooting lists, <br />Specification sheets, and catalog sheets to the Owner and the Landscape Architect <br />as a pre -requisite to final payment. <br />1.09 Supervision: Installer shall be experienced in completing irrigation systems similar <br />in material, design and extent to that indicated for the Project that have resulted in <br />construction with a record of successful in-service performance. The Contractor <br />shall provide a competent superintendent and any necessary assistants on the <br />Project when Work is in progress. The superintendent shall not be changed during <br />the Project without the consent of the Owner's representative unless the <br />superintendent ceases his status as an employee of the Contractor. The <br />superintendent shall represent the Contractor in the Contractor's absence, and all <br />directions given to him by the Owner's representative shall be binding as if they <br />were given to the Contractor. The Contractor's superintendent shall supervise the <br />Contractor's employees on the job site and be responsible for their actions and <br />conduct on the job site. <br />1.10 Protection of Work and Property: The Contractor shall continuously maintain <br />adequate protection of all his Work from damage and shall protect the Owner's <br />property from injury or loss arising in connection with his Work. The Contractor <br />shall take care to avoid damage to any existing or transplanted plant material, <br />existing buildings, equipment, piping, pipe coverings, electrical systems, sewers, <br />sidewalks, landscaping, grounds, aboveground or underground installations of <br />structures of any kind, and shall be responsible for any damage that occurs as <br />result of his Work. Contractor shall adequately protect his Work and all adjacent <br />property as provided and required by law. The Contractor shall securely cover all <br />openings of the section of the system he is working on and components of the <br />system as it is being installed to prevent obstructions in the pipe and breakage, <br />misuse, or disfigurement of equipment. <br />02810-2 <br />Irrigation <br />State Road 60 and 43rd Avenue <br />
